Microchanneling is a non-invasive treatment that improves skin texture and firmness while minimizing hyperpigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, pore size, and stretch marks. Microchanneling uses a stamping device to create thousands of tiny punctures (channels) in the top layer of the skin, stimulating the skin’s natural renewal process, initiating collagen and elastin production without penetrating living tissue.
Growth Factor Serums (stem cells) are applied immediately after microchanneling. These proteins take advantage of the open pathways to enhance absorption, signal healing, and stimulate new collagen growth to achieve improved skin texture and rejuvenated appearance. For optimal results, 3 or more sessions are recommended every 4 to 6 weeks.
Contraindications for microchanneling:
- Severe active acne or severe rosacea
- Pregnant or nursing
- Sunburned skin
- Accutane in the past 2 years
- Stainless steel allergy
- Impaired immune system, such as active radiation or chemotherapy, uncontrolled diabetes, chronic inflammatory skin disease
- Hemophilia or similar bleeding disorder
